Purported N900 PR1.2 Update Changelog Hits the Web
Everyone knows that the Nokia N900 PR1.2 update is coming soon. But no one knows what has actually been fixed. Until now.
Maemo Briefs has released what it claims is the PR1.2 changelog – and it’s no small list. And no, there’s no MMS, Ovi Navigation, voice dialing, or portrait mode additions on the list. Keep in mind that it’s always possible these or other features will hit the list by the time PR1.2 releases.
Among the bug fix highlights:
* 8454 Placing a call in portrait mode gets desktop stuck in portrait mode upon exit.
* 5388 Allow keyboard input to jump to an entry in a list (“type ahead”)
* 5716 Popup menus with rounded corners missing transparency
* 6506 Hardware keys do not change volume when status menu in foreground & browser in background
* 8683 Browser crashes when browsing some websites
* 5357 Does not accept GSM (USSD) Codes starting with *#
* 5417 Delete button greyed out when opening from notification popup (Email)
* 6372 Sometimes photos are not deleted if you delete directly after taking them
* 7124 media player loses cover art if song changes while screen is locked
* 8698 camera does not have the night mode function
* 5337 Ovi Maps gives up finding GPS lock too soon
* 8004 PR1.1 has introduced a battery drain bug (not wifi related)
